Since September 2022, I’ve been taking courses toward a Creative Writing Certificate at the Writer’s Studio (online) through Simon Fraser University.
What a fantastic ride.
Every second Tuesday my poetry cohort workshopped poems with our mentor Rob Taylor, assisted by Tara King.
With other writers enrolled in fiction, personal narrative, creative non-fiction, young adult, and speculative fiction we had classes and online discussions on everything from grammar (not what you’d think) to interviews with publishers.
Now what? Without that external deadline and validation, am I going to be able to continue writing?
